Kendall Rae Velie, age 51, of Appleton, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband, on Tuesday evening, September 29, 2015, at her home, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 30, 1964, to Kenneth and Nancy Bowman of Mountain WI.
On July 3 of this year Kendall & Duane celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
Kendall enjoyed time with family, going out for dinner and cocktails with friends, a good laugh and vacations on the gulf coast beaches of Florida.
She is survived by her loving husband, Duane Velie; two sons, Matthew (Vicki) Swan and Adam Velie (Sara); grandchildren, Carson and Zander Swan; her mother, Nancy Bowman; and her brother, Kenneth Jr. “KC” (Shanon) Bowman; Niece, Darian; Nephew, Boston. Kendall was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Bowman, Sr.
A Celebration of Kendall’s life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. A short
Prayer time will be shared at 6:30 PM, at the Valley Funeral Home.
