Traditional Service Package
Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff
Our fee for the services of the funeral director and staff includes, but not limited to: 24 Hr. staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary legal permits and certificates; preparation and placement of obituary notices; coordination of those providing other services, e.g. clergy, cemetery, crematory and others; assistance relating to social security, life insurance, pension, veterans, and other survivor benefits; shelter of remains. Also included in this charge is an allocation of fixed and general operating overhead relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance, building and utility expenses and administrative costs. This fee for our services and general operating overhead will be added to the total cost of funeral arrangements you have selected. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains. Additional charges may be accessed when filing for government assisted funerals and cremation services, eg cemetery or crematory fees.)
Embalming: (Technician, Equipment & Supplies)
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.
