William "Bill" Schepis

William “Bill” Schepis, age 54 of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, with his wife by his side. He was born on October 5, 1967 to Salvatore and Priscilla (Lanphear) Schepis in Medina, New York. He enlisted in the United States Army, and served his country for four years. In June of 1991 he married Margaret Booker in Columbus, Georgia, where they had met while he was stationed there. Bill enjoyed bowling, curling and working on cars. After his wife, the love of his life was his 2012 Shelby Mustang.

Survivors include his mother, Priscilla, wife, Margaret, daughter, Christina (Nicholas) Anderson, grandchildren; Courtney (Samuel) Gomez, Tyler and Johnathan Anderson and great grandchildren; Isabella and Gabriel Gomez. Bill is further survived by his brothers and sister; Sam (Pat) Schepis, Kim Capstick, Phil (Darlene) Schepis and David (Tiffany) Schepis, mother-in-law, Lillian Cozzolino as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends may gather at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 beginning at 1:30pm until the service being held at 3:00pm.
