William “Bill” L. Anderson, age 68, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 after a life lived beyond expectations. When he was born, September 8, 1957 to the late Herman and Mabel (Swinton) Anderson, doctors thought he would not see his teen years, but true to his determined nature, he proved them all wrong.
Bill spent his life doing what he loved most: listening to country music, watching old westerns and classical shows like MASH, and brining joy and a little sass to everyone who knew him. He proudly competed in the Special Olympics where bowling and bocce ball were his favorite events. Bill worked for Valley Packaging for about 20 years and later at Kwik Trip for 7 years, until his retirement.
Bill is survived by his siblings: Carol Anderson, Harold (Elaine) Anderson, Marjorie Anderson; niece, Jessica (Tim) Ketter; nephew, Matthew (David Chong) Anderson; great nephew, Henry Ketter; and dear family friend, Carol Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mabel Anderson, and brother, Albert Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park.
