Verne P. Thibodeau

Verne P. Thibodeau, age 82, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born in Appleton on December 22, 1941, to the late Adelard and Laura (Schmitz) Thibodeau.

Verne was a man of many passions and talents. He loved movies and was enthusiastic about cars. He also had a fondness for Las Vegas and a remarkable ability to fix and tinker with things. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering support made him a beloved figure in the lives of those he touched.

Verne is survived by his wife of 35 years, Risa (Larson) Thibodeau; children: Sandra J Schulz, Sharon Thibodeau, Dan (Tracey) Thibodeau, Susan Thibodeau Tavernia, Dale (Leah) Thibodeau, Sheli (Patrick) Radtke, Holly (Ken) Geller, Eric (Sue) Melchiors; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was further preceded in death by his sons-in-law: Todd Schulz, Jeff Tavernia; and siblings: Leroy (Joanie) Thibodeau and Jeanne (Chet) Willson.
