Tyler Jacob Flanagan

Tyler Jacob Flanagan, born 07/10/1994 age 29, passed away unexpectedly on or around 07/26-27/2023. The family is devastated. He Graduated Virginia Tech in 2020 with his Masters degree in philosophy. Graduated UWO in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree, major in history, minor in philosophy. He was such a smart young man, able to discuss any subject intelligently. He LOVED philosophy and had over 200 books on his shelves he would read. His passions were hiking, photography, playing his multiple guitars, video games and visiting with people. He would stop anyone to say hi and offer a smile.

Surviving family members: Parents: Michelle & Nicholas Flanagan, Grandparents Rosemary & Duane Hanson, Aunts/Uncles: Lisa & Greg Hein, Mike & Kathy Hanson, Regina Flanagan and Dan Donovan, Susan Flanagan, Barbara & Cedric Thevenaz, Barbara & Clifford Flanagan, James Flanagan, Cousins: Danielle Burlaga, Audrey Thevenaz, Austin Hanson, Alex Hanson, Matthew Hein, Anne Hein, Jacob Flanagan and Jordan Flanagan. The love of his life Caitlin Anderson and his best friend Cesar.

Preceding him in death was his Sister Krista Flanagan, Great Grandparents Martha and Clarence Hackel, Evelyn and Wayne Hanson and Grandparents Hazel and Clifford Flanagan.

No funeral will be held. We will hold a celebration/memorial in October 2023 around the 14th at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens. Contact Valley Funeral Home for any further details.
