Tanya D. (Rapp) Benzshawel

Tanya D. Benzshawel, age 60 of Appleton, passed away March 23, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Tanya was born December 12, 1960 to Harry Rapp and Lois Heinz. She married Michael Benzshawel on January 2, 1999. Tanya enjoyed crafting, gardening, sewing and painting, but her true passions were for the outdoors, spending time with her beloved puppy, Gabi and riding scooters with Michael. Tanya was a member of numerous bowling leagues over the years. She loved to celebrate Halloween, it was her favorite holiday. Tanya was a very giving person to people and animals alike.

Tanya is survived by her husband; Michael, 3 children; Nicole (Joe), Tony (Ashley), Matthew (Nadine), her parents; Harry Rapp (Sandy) and Lois Heinz (Ken), siblings; Torri (Jerry), Tara (Kerry), grandchildren; Alexis (Zak), Tanner, Tyler, Anthony, Arlen, Taylor, Waylon and Ainsley. She is further survived by many other family and friends.

Tanya is preceded in death by her brother; Todd Rapp.

Funeral Services for Tanya will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton, WI at 11am.  Visitation will be held at 9am until the hour of service with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Tanya’s honor.
