Susan A. (Miske) Mitchell

Susan “Sue” Mitchell of Appleton passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 20 at age 61. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 2, 1960, to the late Jules and Edith (Johnson) Miske. She was an active volunteer with St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was a member for many years.

Sue enjoyed gardening, interior decorating, cooking and entertaining. She loved animals, especially cats and will be missed by her three fur babies, Tuna, Buddy and Mitty.

Survivors include her brothers, Ron (Mary) Miske and Don (Kathy) Miske, as well as her niece, Paige Miske, who was her pride and joy. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W Marquette St, Appleton beginning at 10:00 am until 11:30am when a Memorial Mass will be held at church. She will be interred in Des Plaines at All Saints Cemetery in the niche next to her mother. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Fox Valley Humane Society, www.foxvalleypets.org, in memory of Sue.
