Steven P. Ashman

Steven P. Ashman, age 38, left us way too early! He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on February 26, 1985 to Rick Ashman and Diane DeBauche. He attended Hortonville High School, he played football and baseball while in school. Steve loved to be outdoors; anytime he could be fishing or hunting he was definitely in his element. He was an incredible artist, many family members received drawings that he made for them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Jordon Ashman, parents, Rick Ashman and Diane (Wayne) DeBauche, brothers; Rick Jr. (Joanne) Ashman and Mike (Bobbie) Ashman and sister, Michelle (Mike) Boldt, nieces and nephews; Alex (Kaili) Ashman, Austin (Billie) Ashman, Courtney, Kylie, Payton, Carissa, Christopher, Miley and Dylan great niece and nephew; Mason and Madelyn. Steve is further survived by his grandma, Marian Ashman as well as many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents; Melvin and Ruth Bierman, grandfather, Eldo Ashman, and Steve’s dog Luda who was his best friend.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 10:00am until 12:00noon, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton. A funeral service will follow at noon.
