Steve J. Mathis

Steve J. Mathis, age 66 of Hortonville, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. He was born on May 5, 1955 in Kaukauna Wisconsin to Joseph and Viola (Prust) Mathis.

He is survived by his wife Robin, daughter, Allison, mother, Viola (Prust) Otto, sisters, Judy (Henry) Hoelzel, Sharon (Butch) Meissner, sister in law and brother in law Randi and Jim Steinberg and nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his father, Joseph Mathis, Step-father, Raymond Otto, and brother, William Mathis.

Steve was very passionate about his many hobbies, including his blue 1955 Chevy Bel-Air, fishing and ice fishing, his aquariums of discus fish and had quite the green thumb when it came to gardening.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, April 23, 2022 for a celebration of life beginning at 10:00 am  until 1:00 pm at Valley Funeral Home located at 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton WI 54911.
