Steve Allan Cotter

Steve A. Cotter, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was born on January 27, 1955, son of the late Norman and Marie (Burghardt) Cotter. He married Donna Barker on May 30, 1981, at Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton.

Steve enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He loved to drive around in his yellow sports car with Donna. He was a great dad and a loving grandfather to his grandchildren.

Steve is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna; children: Justin Cotter and Matthew (Dara) Cotter; grandchildren: Aurora, Emma and Bryce Cotter; siblings: David Cotter, Michael (Marina) Cotter, Donna (Larry) Pagel and Diane (Brian) Melzer; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Arlis and Glen Barker.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Ave., Appleton. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
