Shirley M. Dubey

Shirley M. Dubey, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was born to the late Phillip and Geraldine (Zimmer) Williams on May 17, 1950 in Appleton, WI.

Shirley had a passion for art, crafting, and sewing.  She attended many craft fairs and made countless outfits for her loved ones over the years, including several costumes for renaissance fairs, which she also enjoyed attending. Shirley was also an avid collector of angels, whether it was figurines, photos, pins; she loved them all! In her spare time she enjoyed listening to Elvis as well as giving back to her community as an active member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church.

Shirley is survived by her children: Shawn Dubey, Andy (Christy) Dubey, and Virginia Lancaster; grandchildren: Alana Berg, Brianna Dubey, and Travis Dubey; siblings: Christine Chady and PJ (Bert) Williams; and her God Daughter, Nicole (Kyle) Kasprzyk. Shirley is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Phillip and Geraldine; and her brother-in-law, Stephan Chady.

A funeral service for Shirley will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of the service. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
