Sharon Lynn Mueller

Sharon Lynn Mueller, age 81, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, June 7, 2025 at Heartwood Senior Living.  She was born on February 6, 1944 in Appleton, daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Young) Mueller.  Sharon was a graduate of Appleton West High School.  She worked at Doering's Grocery Store in the bakery department where she learned to bake and decorate cakes.  She continued to do that for her family and friends.  She then worked at Great Northern Corporation until she retired from there.  After retirement she went back to work at the Post-Crescent where she met her good friend of 15 years, Carol Barth.  Sharon, you will always be in our hearts until we meet again.

She is survived by her siblings: Cheryl (Chris) Hassell, Warren (Joanne) Mueller; nieces and nephews; and her good friend, Carol Barth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul; sisters: Charmaine and Norma; niece, Lu Ann Marie.

Funeral Service for Sharon will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 11:00 A.M. at First English Lutheran Church (326 E. North St., Appleton) the Rev. Mary Bauer officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Valley Funeral Home (2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton) and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton at 2:30 P.M. on Friday.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
