This world lost a rare kind of beautiful on July 17, 2025, when Sharon M. Davids, age 69, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born on February 1, 1956 to the late Harold and Dolores (Jenkins) Kirchner.
A devoted homemaker and the very heart of her family, Sharon made a life out of caring – deeply, tirelessly, and without ever asking for anything in return. Her home was a place where hummingbirds danced outside the window, flowers bloomed, and your favorite dish was already in the oven before you even knocked on the door. She was famous for her cheesecake and tater tot casserole.
Sharon found joy in the simple things: a sunny afternoon car ride, a good bird sighting through the kitchen window, the way her husband smiled across the room. She and Bill were teammates, co-creators, and each other’s right hand in everything from big life decisions to projects around the house.
No matter the project or the person, she showed up. She gave her whole heart, every time. She was quietly strong, fiercely loving, and always the first to lend a hand. Sharon leaves behind a legacy built not on grand gestures, but on a million little acts of selflessness that made everyone around her feel deeply loved.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Bill Davids; children: Christopher Davids, Jason (Kristen) Davids, Jennifer (John) Stress; grandchildren: Schuylar (Peqtahseh Dess) Davids, Caleb Davids, Jacob Davids, “LJ” John Stress, Adyson Davids; three great grandchildren: Peqtahseh, Lakelynn, and Neolin Dess; and numerous siblings. She was further preceded in death by twin great grandchildren, Marcella and Aupaumut Dess; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Marcella Davids; and two siblings.
Private family services will be held.
The family would like thank the 6th floor nurses at ThedaCare, especially: Paul, Kailey, Sam, Julia, Emily (PCT), Heather, Hannah and RJ for the compassionate care given to Sharon
