Scott Alen Froehlich, 38, of Little Chute, passed away on September 25, 2021. Scott was born on October 1, 1982 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Gerald and Kathy (Lizor) Froehlich. He was a 2001 graduate of Little Chute High School.
Scott loved the outdoors, especially fishing. His tackle box was always ready to go. When Scott was young, he moved to the east coast where he found his passion for sports. Scott enjoyed cheering on the Atlanta Braves, but he was most enthusiastic about the Steelers (much to his friends’ dismay!) Scott was known for his friendly spirit and was the first to offer help to a friend. He considered anyone he met his new friend.
Scott is survived by his mother and step-dad, Kathy & John Lizor, his cherished girlfriend, Alyssa Hietpas, several siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many wonderful friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Froehlich, sister Regina, both maternal and fraternal grandparents, and his beloved cat, Rocky. Rocky was his steadfast companion for many years and could always brighten his day.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Valley Funeral Home on Richmond St, in Appleton. Visitation will start at 4:00pm until the memorial service at 7:00pm. Out of respect for the family, we kindly ask that anyone attending wear a mask.
Scott, you've touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by all. You will always be remembered for your big heart and kind spirit.
If anyone should ask for me,
Tell them heaven is where I'll be.
I've finished all my life's chores
And now I fish on heaven's shores.
I'll save a spot on the rivers bend
for all those I call family and friend.
