Ronald D. Woodward, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born on December 20, 1942 to the late Edward “Ted” and Marion (Crandell) Woodward.
Ron was a graduate of Jackson Hole High School class of 1961. On September 28, 1963 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Karla Larsen. Throughout his career, Ron was employed with Lamb’s Lumber. Later he owned his own business, Ron’s Glass, for several years before retiring as an electrician with Modern Lighting & Electric. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed woodworking, photography, and spending time in nature hunting and fishing.
Ron is survived by his sons: Ron DeWayne (Melissa) Woodward and Karl (girlfriend Tami) Woodward; grandchildren: Ben (Heidi) Woodward and Casey (fiancé Damon) Woodward; great grandson, James Woodward; niece, Sawnie Kalene Ritchie; brother-in-law, Rex (Joyce) Larsen; and sister-in-law, Kay (Wendell) Marley. Ron is further survived by many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karla Woodward; sister, Mildred Bagley; brother-in-law, Dean Larsen; and sister-in-law, Linda (Jay) Teasdale.
Per Ron’s wishes, no formal services are to be held. He will be laid to rest in Victor Cemetery in Idaho where there will be a private graveside service.
