Roger E. Sprotte

Roger E. Sprotte, age 87, of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Rennes Health & Rehabilitation Center in Appleton, WI.

He was born on November 9, 1935 in Tomahawk, WI, son of Alex and Viola Sprotte.

Roger worked for the Appleton Water Department for over 30 years until the time of his retirement. Throughout Rogers retirement years, he lived in Woodruff, WI where he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Audrey (Botker) Sprotte to whom he was married for 69 years; three sons Glenn (Jody) Sprotte; Terry (Mary) Sprotte  their children Daniel (Christy) Sprotte and their children Olivia and Ethan, Sarah Lemoine and her son William Lemoine; and Stewart (Sarah) Sprotte and his daughter Berit.  

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Leon Sprotte; grandson Samuel Sprotte; and numerous brothers and sisters.

A funeral will be for immediate family only.
