Robert Charles " Chuck" Bichel, 70, of Appleton passed away peacefully at his home surrounded in love from his devoted wife Pam, daughter Gwen alongside her boyfriend Zach and son Charlie.
Born June 16, 1953 to the late Robert and Patricia Bichel, Chuck was the eldest of six children. He was a supportive brother to his siblings and always made time for them.
On April 29, 1972 Chuck made the best move in his life and married Pam Fabel. Together they had two children, Gwen and Charlie. Through wonderful and difficult times Pam was his rock, caring for him right up to the end. His legacy will live on through the memories carried by his grandchildren Liam (Amy), Seth and Hannah (Justin) and great-grandchildren Tennison, Eli and Jaxon.
Chuck, owner of the former Bargain City in Menasha and Auction City in Appleton was a well known liquidator, auctioneer and fireworks wholesaler. Countless customers recognize his distinctive boisterous voice and dry humor. His auctions were a sight to see as his goofy antics would rouse the crowd and make their paddles rise. He was quite the entertainer. Besides being a business owner he was a family man at heart. He loved spending time at his cottage in Fremont and fishing on the Wolf River. Countless memories were made on pontoon rides, backyard fires and watching beautiful sunsets.
Chuck is survived by his wife Pam, daughter Gwen (Zach) and son Charlie, his three grandchildren Liam (Amy), Seth and Hannah (Justin) and three great-grandchildren; Tennison, Eli and Jaxon. He is further survived by his siblings; Gary (Diane), Ricky (Donna), Sharon (Glenn); Catherine (Dan) and Jennifer (Brandon), in-laws; Roxanne (Gil); Laurine; Scott (Debbie); Jackie (Brien) and Jolene (Dan).
Though much too soon he is reunited with his mother Patricia, father Robert and sister-in-law Shelly.
