Robert "Bob" Williamson

Robert “Bob” Williamson, 79, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025.  Bob was born on April 9, 1946 to George and Regina (Vande Burgt) Williamson in Appleton.  On July 25, 1989 he was united in marriage to Mary Schmitt.  He worked at Thilmany paper mill for 35 years until he retired.  Bob enjoyed working on cars and fixing things.  In his spare time he helped build garages and watch westerns. 

Bob is survived by his wife Mary, two children; Sarah and Robert Jr, a brother Kenneth (Mary) Williamson, sisters Joyce (Gary) Lasee and Sandra Shepherd, nieces, nephews, in-laws and other relatives and friends.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Wilmer and Joyce Schmitt; and brother-in-law George Shepherd.

A memorial service for Bob will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St.  A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  For online condolences please visit www.valleyfh.com.
