Robert J. Verhage

Robert J. Verhage, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Appleton. He was born in Watertown to the late Jacob and Arlene (Lyon) Verhage.

Robert loved to travel in his motor home. He was an avid car enthusiast and belonged to the Valley Classic Cruisers.  Robert enjoyed playing cards spending time at casinos.

Robert is survived by his children: Rebecca (Matt) Plath, Ryan (Cheri Wochinski) Verhage, Renee (Ryan) O’ Connell; stepson, William (Colleen) Richey; grandchildren: Bailie, Blayden, Christian, Madison, Noah, Jacob, Caleb, Keegan, Bryce, Garett, Nolan; great grandchild, Sullen; sister, Kathy (Robert) Manning; special friend, Kathy Keeley; and dog, Ruby. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Beverley; father, Jacob Verhage; mother and step-father, Arlene and Victor Holz.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
