Richard Martin Paessler

Richard M. Paessler, age 85, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton. He was born on January 29, 1940 in Appleton, Wisconsin son of the late Norman and Arlene (Bonnin) Paessler. On August 29, 1959 he married Ann Femal at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Appleton. Their marriage was blessed with three sons and over 65 years. He was a passionate outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, and exploring nature with his sons and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent at the hunting cabin in Waupaca and fishing raft in New London where he would share his love of the outdoors with his family, and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann; his sons: Jeff Paessler, Appleton, Mike (Ute) Paessler, Little Chute; grandchildren: Robin Frechette, Heidi (Aleasha) Paessler, Ryan Paessler; siblings: Peggy Hoppe, Robert (Judy) Paessler, Jan (Bill) Hughes, Don (Sandy) Paessler. In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his son, Steven Paessler.

Private family services were held at Valley Funeral Home. Dick will be entombed in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
