Richard "Rick" Appleton

RIchard "Rick" Appleton passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in his hometown of Appleton, WI, at the age of 72.  He was born to Joseph and Rosann Appleton on May 6, 1951, in nearby Kaukauna.  

A worshiper at Christ the Rock Church, he walked a path of faith filled with thanks for every grace bestowed upon him.  He lived a life of love shared with his wife Peggy and his children: James (Aminah), Jolene (Dave), Ken, Kristine (Nick), and Mike (Chau).  

RIck's joy was magnified by his grandchildren: Alli, Kiera, Noah, Bakari, Barack, and Zaria.  He loved spending time with them and they will carry on his legacy.

He found solace and delights in nature, often retreating to the serenity of Captain's Cove Resort, where he admired the natural wonders of the world.

Preceded in death by his brother David and his parents, Rick now rests in the company of the angels and saints.  

The Appleton Family will hold a private service to remember and honor a life beautifully lived.  He now resides in the House of the Lord forever more, as affirmed by Psalm 23:6.
