Randolph "Randy" E. Sievert

Randolph Edward Sievert, age 76, passed away on May 7th, 2024.  He was born March 18th 1948, the son of Orville and Theresa (Pat) Sievert .  On September 20, 1980 he married Kathleen (Kathy) Sievert (Schmidt).

Randy worked many jobs in his lifetime from maintenance to driving but his favorite job by far was working at FedEx, both as a driver and a package handler.  He especially enjoyed the friendships he made as a package handler.  Randy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He spent his time square and round dancing, first with his wife Kathy and then later with his square dance partner Judy.  He also liked collecting and counting pop-top (to donate to Ronald McDonald) as well as collecting and repairing pallets.  Randy was well liked wherever he went and was always quick with a joke, usually a dad joke.  He was passionate about Old Glory Honor Flight and has earmarked a donation in his honor.

Randy is survived by his twin daughters, Jennifer Drumm & Melissa (Alois Jr) Van Handel; brother, David (Corrine) Sievert; sisters, Barbara Wilson, Connie (David) Zeise, Cynthia (Lenny) Linsmeyer & Sandra (Mark) Treiber.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Orlin, and wife Kathy.  He was further preceded in death by a niece and nephew.

Funeral services for Randy will be held on May 15th at 7pm at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton.  Friends and family may visit from 4 pm until the time of the service.  He will be entombed at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sherwood with his wife Kathy.  In lieu of flowers, donations will be collected and will be donated to Old Glory Honor Flight.
