Randy Klitzke, 65, of Black Creek was united with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2024, on his last race down the track at Wisconsin International Raceway.
Along with his brother, Buster, Randy began his career in the family business, Klitzke Construction Company. He later continued his career for Sam Sommers Construction, and was currently employed by Martell Construction Company.
If you had been blessed to know Randy, you would have known him for his kindness, generosity, and compassion towards people. He was a joy to be around with his incredible energy and uplifting personality. Randy lived a simple and selfless life, helping anyone and everyone along the way. He was an extremely skilled and hard working man, who shared his wisdom with his many friends, family, and co-workers.
Before his brother's passing, the Klitzke brothers spent much of their time together, working on cars, drag racing, building various things, and using their knowledge and time to help others.
Randy is survived by his two sisters Connie (David) VandeHei and Amy (Dick) LuMaye, his sister in-law Pat (Buster) Klitzke, his ten nieces and nephews and their families, special friend Leslie Calkins and her daughter Maria Calkins. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Carol Klitzke, his brothers Buster and Jeffrey Klitzke, and Grandparents Ervin and Florence Felton, and Hadwick and Paul Klitzke.
A memorial service for Randy will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
We would like to give special thanks to the first responders at the incident, to his co-workers at Martell Construction Company, and to Nature's Best Floral & Boutique. We thank God for the special man that impacted so many lives here and we look forward to seeing him again someday. Until then, Randy will be deeply missed by many.
