Paul Scheffel

Paul Scheffel passed away in the loving company of his family on December 9th 2024 at the age of 90.  He was born to the late Paul and Helen (Balvage) Scheffel on September 21,1934 in New Jersey.

Paul was the consummate gentleman, gracious, caring and always willing to tell a tale much to the delight of family and friends.  Purposeful, steadfast and resolute in his faith and commitment to those he loved, Paul was always willing to lend support and guidance to those who wanted it (or not).  We will all miss him dearly.

Paul is survived by daughters; Lynda (Mark) Palm, Carolyn (Ted) Skaer, Cindy (Rich) Ham, son Paul (Tammie) Scheffel; grandchildren; Paul Scheffel, Stephen (Nikki) Scheffel, Shannon Palm (Mike Mann), Olivia Palm (fiancé Darragh Ryan), Emily Skaer (fiancé Kenny Rucker), Evan Skaer(friend Jordy), Kelsey (Brent) Gonnering and brother John Scheffel.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Dolores of 64 years, son, Stephen Scheffel, sister Helen, brother Richard Scheffel and niece Naomi.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
