Patti S. Immel

Patti Sue Immel, age 62, of Greenville, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Patti was born on March 27, 1963, in Greenville, WI, where she was raised and remained deeply rooted throughout her life. She was a 1981 graduate of Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

On October 26, 1984, Patti married the love of her life, Todd Immel, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenville. Together they shared 41 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and love while raising two children. Patti had a remarkable gift with little ones and a heart that seemed to have no limits. While raising her own family, she spent many years babysitting for friends and relatives, caring for countless children as if they were her own. Later, she devoted that same love and attention to her grandchildren, who were truly her pride and joy. Many of the children whose lives she touched came to see Patti as a second mother, a testament to her nurturing spirit and unwavering kindness. Patti loved warm weather and being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine whenever she could. She especially cherished vacations to tropical destinations, where she found peace near the water. Above all else, Patti treasured time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, creating memories that will be held close forever.

Patti will be remembered for her gentle heart, selfless devotion to others, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she nurtured and the family she loved so deeply.

Patti is survived by her loving husband, Todd Immel; children: Melissa (Chris) Lochner and Brandon (Brittany) Immel; beloved grandchildren: Cora and Lainey Lochner, Ruth and Gideon Immel; and siblings: Randy (Penny) Immel, Troy (Kris) Immel, Rainie (Derrick) Wasmund, Greg Ziegler, Vicki (Dave) Schleef, and Karri (Mark) Miller. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Don and Hazel Ziegler; infant sons: Travis and Andrew Immel; in-laws: Robert “RJ” and Donna Immel; and brothers: Mike and Mark Ziegler.

A Funeral Service for Patti will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W7265 School Rd., Greenville. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of the service. For online condolences, please visit www.valleyfh.com.
