It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Parker William O’Rourke. He passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the age of 16. Parker will be remembered as a very kind-hearted and selfless person who loved music and singing. He was fun, carefree, and had a great sense of humor. To know him was to love him, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Parker is survived by his parents, Brad and Trisha, his older brother Ethan and younger sister Alyssa, his grandmother Kathleen O’Rourke, his uncle Ron and aunt Jayme Barr, his uncle Kevin Barr, his aunt Kimberly and uncle Troy Jackels, his uncle Mark, his cousins Michael Duckworth, Debra Nelson, James Burdett II, James Burdett III, Anthony Burdett, and Emma Burdett, also his other brothers in life, Kendal Jones and Kaeden Calcari. He will also be missed by his friends, Sam Muntner, Sam Portugal, Kayden King, and Jayvin Deleeuw. There are many more family members and friends who loved Parker and will miss him. There are too many to name here. Parker touched many lives in the short time he had on this earth. His passing is a loss to so many.
Parker’s family wishes that his passing, although tragic, will serve as a visible beacon to the many families who are dealing with mental health issues. Please do not be afraid to seek help. You are not alone.
