Noel Edward Petit

Noel E. Petit, age 63 of Freedom passed away after a hard fight with NAFLD, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 12, 2022.  Noel was born on May 31, 1958 in New London, Wisconsin to the late Vernon and Margaret (nee Muraski) Petit.  Noel was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan Petit (nee Drier), on June 21, 1980.  He worked as a territory sales manager, selling industrial mowers and equipment.

Noel enjoyed delicious food, fishing, cracking jokes, and making people laugh.  He loved car shows and swap meets to catch up with friends; everyone was there to find Noel. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife and his son, Andrew.  Further survived by his siblings, Yvonne (Thomas) Vandenberg, Phillip (Julie Ann) Petit, Michele Remter, Julie Petit, Gregory (Nancy) Petit, Annette Petit, Rock (Robbin) Petit, Dominic (Niki) Petit and sister-in-law, Mary Petit.  Including his mother-in-law, Joyce Drier, and sibling-in-laws, Steve (Kathy) Drier, Tom (Sallie) Drier, Lori (Tom) Kriplean, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, older brother Chris Petit, father-in-law Frank Drier, and brothers-in-law Rick Drier and Scott Drier.

The family would like to thank Theda Care at Home staff for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton beginning at 3pm till 7pm with the service to follow.
