Nancy Lee (Croisetiere) Kobs, 83, of Appleton, Wisconsin, peacefully went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, August 30, 2024. Nancy was born, March 1, 1941, the daughter of Joseph E. and Dorothy J. (Moffett) Croisetiere, in Marquette, Michigan.
Nancy lived an adventurous life. In 1972, she left Marquette, with her three children, and lived in the Fox Valley of Wisconsin, for the rest of her life. She worked as a fast-food cook, waitress, CNA, assistant baker, crossing guard and other jobs. She loved to dance, hang out and go for walks with family and friends. She was a cheerful, energetic, and welcoming lady. Some of her unique perspectives throughout the years still bring smiles to faces. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, picnicking with family and most of all shopping. Mom never found a “deal” from which she could walk away! She, also, loved hosting family holidays, especially Christmas!
Nancy married the love of her life, Jack C Kobs, January 10, 1998. They were married until his death in January 2021. They were an active couple, volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul for several years, sorting, visiting, and bargain hunting. They made many friends over the years.
