Michelle L Krause

Michelle L. Krause, 53, of Appleton, WI passed away unexpectedly Thursday September 2nd, 2021. She was born on March 21, 1968 to William E. Krause and the late Patricia E. Krause in Appleton, WI. Michelle graduated from Freedom High School in 1986. Michelle was a devout Christian and incredibly strong in her faith. Most recently Michelle was employed by Liebovich Steel and Aluminum Company, where she enjoyed the work that she did in the credits department. Prior to that she was extremely passionate about the floral work and design that she provided for Gary’s Flower Land (Twigs and Vines Floral). Michelle was very creative and an avid crafter. She particularly enjoyed collecting geodes and creating various artworks with them. Throughout her time in school Michelle was recognized for her talents and abilities in singing and theatre. After graduation, her love for music led her into singing with the band called “Off-Center.” She was known for her kind and giving heart, especially throughout her mother’s illness. Michelle found much joy in spending time with her friends and large family.

She is survived by her father William Krause, son Jacob Krause, brothers Bill (Cindy) Krause, Chris (Tina) Krause, Joe Krause, Roger (Cindy Leon), sisters Rebekah (Sam) Miramontes, Amy ( Josh) Frederick, Anna Krause, Nieces Leticia Ratsch, Kalynn (Spencer Young) Krause, Shelby (Derrek) Davis, Missy (Cody Daul) Krause, Cassie, Elizabeth, Emma, Evie Miramontes, Tatiana Krause, Mariah, Olivianna, nephews Jose Gonzalez, Mike Miramontes, Joey Krause, Arlo Krause, Chase, Dominic, great nephew Charlie Davis, great nieces Ireland Ratsch, and Aubree Davis. Michelle is preceded in death by her son Zackary, mother Patricia, grandparents Alfred and Josephine Getzlaff and Earl and Louise Krause.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond St beginning at 10am until 12:45pm, with a service to follow at 1:00pm. Michelle’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate staff of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for the care that they provided in her final moments
