Michael J. Bunnell of Hortonville, Wisconsin, age 63, lost his two week battle with Covid on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Michael was born in New London, Wisconsin on October 26, 1958.
Michael loved doing things for others and for family. If your car or any equipment would break down, he would fix it. If you called and needed help in the middle of the night, he was there. If he went past someone in a wheelchair, he would stop to ask how he could help. He was one of the most selfless people around.
Michael, along with his wife, owned L&M Cargo Control in Hortonville. Michael was a truck driver all of his life and loved being an over-the-road driver and meeting new people. He hauled cattle for many years for Packerland Packing.
Michael was a scout leader for many years for Troop 9 at St. Pius X in Appleton. He really enjoyed being a scout leader and camping with the boys.
Michael loved to hunt and fish and go to hunting and fishing banquets. He also loved to travel and go on long car rides. Las Vegas was one of those destinations.
Michael was a loving husband, father and best friend. Survivors include his wife, Linda, son Chad Zuelsdorf of Appleton, daughters; Erica Bunnell of Oshkosh and Heather Bunnell of Neenah. He is also survived by sisters; Charlotte (Jere) Onsgard of Almond, Wisconsin, Cheryl Larrabee from Illinois and sister in law Nancy Bunnell from Shiocton, Wisconsin, four grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
