Martha Mae Slocum

Martha (Swonger) Slocum, age 81, of Appleton Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2022 with her family beside her. She was born to the late Daniel and Marion Swonger in Spooner Wisconsin on May 2, 1941. Martha lived her life in service to God. She was a loving mother to her five children and four step children.

Martha is survived by her sons: Bruce (Laurel) Bray, David Bray, Mark (Deborah) Bray, John (LaLoni) Slocum, her daughter: Maria Slocum and her sister: Mary Bosveld.

Martha was step mother to: Lucy, Catherine, Michael, and Daniel.

Martha was grandmother to: Sarah, Aaron, Luke, Ariana, Caleb, Joshua, Jordan, Julia, Blake, Karlie, Sadie, Brooke, Trevor and Owen.

She was great-grandmother to: Jaden, Miya, Gunnar, Xander, Isaiah, Lilliana, Destinee, Dakota, Emma, Jasmin, Isaac, Laila and Forrest

She is predeceased by her husband, Vernon Slocum, her brother, Leroy Swonger, and grandson, Nathan Bray.
