Mark Stafford

Mark Kelly Stafford, 67, of Appleton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Cherry Meadows.  He was born May 31, 1956 in Kingsford, MI to the late Raymond and Shirley (Besaw) Stafford.  Mark worked for 42 years at Fox River Paper and made many lifelong friends along the way. Mark was an avid Detroit Lions fan and he enjoyed shooting pool and playing lawn jarts.  He was known as the Music Man as he loved to re mix tapes.  He had a love for animals and enjoyed the outdoors.  He enjoyed deer hunting and liked to go camping in his younger years.

Mark is survived by his life partner of 19 years, Raylene Stafford, son Nathan Stafford, siblings: Gregory Stafford, Teresa (Gary) Kalberg, Keith (Marlene) Stafford, Cheryl (Clair) Bundy, Paul Stafford, Barry Stafford as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He is further survived by Raylene’s sisters; Janice Ladd, Pattie Bell and Melissa Priest.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jeff Stafford and Roy Stafford and Raylene’s brother Michael Bell.

A celebration of life will be held at Grumpy’s Bar & Grill, 1501 N. Richmond St. Appleton, WI. on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 3pm-7pm.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
