Luzviminda Peterson Obituary

Luzviminda (Minda) Baltazar Peterson, 66 years young, passed away September 27, 2020 at her home in Kingsford, MI.  Minda was the first – born daughter of Anita Cabahit and Jovenal Santiago Baltazar on January 15, 1954 in Baybay Leyte, Phillipines.  She married Robert L. Kuehl then moved to the US.  She was employed at Florence Villa Nursing Home, Florence, WI for 20 years as a Caregiver.  In her past time she loved to garden, cook Filipino cuisine, and fish. Minda was very talented in her abilities with crafts and flowers.

 

Minda is survived by her Husband, Dennis Peterson, Florence, WI; Daughter Jillay C Ruppel (Kuehl), Cody and Jacob Ruppel (Grand-sons), Appleton, WI; Son Shane R Kuehl and his wife Krissa Kuehl, Login, Wyatt and Aerianna Kuehl (Grand-children), Marinette, WI. 

 

Minda was the eldest of seven siblings, Raul Baltazar (deceased), Belinda Burke, Quinnesec, MI, Elizabeth Vance, Seattle, WA, George Baltazar, Cavite City, Phillipines, Jovenal Baltazar Jr (deceased), and Mercea Weaver, Marietta, GA.  She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

 

The family would like to express our thanks to Dickinson County Hospital and Dialysis Center, Iron Mountain, and all who had helped in her care.   A sincere appreciation for her special friend Dale Larson who has been by her side through her struggles and with her until her last breath.  Minda was loved by many with her sweet and kind personality.  A memorial will be held in spring of 2021 in her hometown.
