Lucy greatly loved her father, Vincent, & was very devoted to him, as well as her step-mother, Judy, whom she called "mother." Her father who was unable to attend the funeral due to open heart surgery, continues to offer up his sufferings in reparation for the sins committed against the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as well as relief for the Poor Souls in Purgatory, & invites others to do the same. Having lost his father when he was 16, and within the past 11 years lost his wife Loretta after 42 years of marriage, his sister, a step daughter, his son, and now his daughter Lucy, knows how difficult the trials of life can be, but his faith in Christ & the Roman Catholic Church, in spite of the scandals, has brought him the strength he needs to endure these sufferings. He therefore also invites others to not lose hope and trust in Jesus who never fails to help us.
The family thanks Ascension Hospice of Appleton, & especially nurse Dana, as well as the staff at Brewster Village Skilled Nursing Home for their compassion & the care they provided for Lucy. The family is also grateful for family members & friends who prayed for her & sent her cards while she was ill, especially those who had Masses said for her.
