Lucinda "Cindy" A (Cotter) Backus

Lucinda Ann "Cindy" Backus, 62, of Appleton, Wisconsin, peacefully passed away on October 14, 2023. She was born on August 16, 1961, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to the late Donald Cotter Sr. and Carol Skeris. Cindy was a loving and devoted grandma, mother, daughter, and wife.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Czarniecki, and cherished grandchildren, Tapanga Czarniecki, Mitchell Cotter, and Channing Cotter. She was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Levi Cotter. Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Backus.

In her professional life, Cindy dedicated over 20 years as a Shipment Supervisor for Jacks Pizza. With her unwavering commitment and dedication, she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the company.

Outside of her career, Cindy found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Their laughter and love filled her heart, creating treasured memories that will forever be cherished.

Cindy's life will be commemorated through a cremation, followed by a heartfelt Celebration of Life at a later date and location. Contributions in her honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association and the American Lung Association.
