Louise M. Schwaegler

Louise (Benetazzo) Schwaegler passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the age of 80 at Cherry Meadows in Appleton, WI.

Louise was born in Oak Park, IL in 1944. After graduating Oak Park High School, she graduated from Presbyterian St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Chicago. She married Carl David Schwaegler in 1969 and they had two sons: Brian (Jodi) and Mark (Jody). She worked in obstetrics and surgery as well as for two hand surgeons until her retirement.

She enjoyed playing various games, crossword puzzles, the piano, knitting, bridge, water sports, and singing in the church choir in her younger years.

She is survived by her husband, David Schwaegler; sons and grandchildren; her brother Paul (Lisa) and nieces and nephews; as well as cousins here and abroad. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Albert, and grandparents.

A Funeral Mass for Louise will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, WI 54956.
