Lloyd N. Femal

Lloyd N. Femal, age 95, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on January 13, 1929 in Appleton to the late Edward and Flowella (Hoffman) Femal. He was united in marriage to Eunice Fitch on July 31, 1954 at St Mary's church in Appleton, WI. They would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on July 31st.

Lloyd enjoyed working 26 years for UPS as a mechanic where he made many lifelong friends. He spent countless hours fixing and tinkering with anything mechanical. Lloyd was someone who would help anyone. He was a proud Army veteran serving in the Korean War and on April 11, 2013 was honored to partake in the Old Glory Honor Flight.  Many sunny days were spent driving their gambling friends to the casino or just taking one of his many dachshunds for a “ride”. He also enjoyed stopping at Femal’s Auto Body and Towing to talk shop with the boys. The neighborhood watch on Glendale Ave will have some big shoes to fill. 

Lloyd was a devoted husband to Eunice (Maxine); and loving father to: Glen (Kim), Douglas (Elizabeth), Michael, and Steven (Lori). He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Courtney (Chad) Vander Heiden, Caitlin (Paul) Christensen, Samuel Femal, Laura (Steve) Kaster, Melrose Femal, Christopher (Holly) Femal, Lindsey (Christopher) Bishop, Chelsea (Aaron) Wirth, and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Harold “Harry” (Lilla), and Kenneth, and sisters Doris (Jack) Frost, and Nancy Peters. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond Street, Appleton. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service. Full military honors will follow the service.

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Shepherd’s Care Community Outreach or St. Jude’s.
