Lillianna (Lilli) M. Alfaro, 19, formerly of Manitowoc and currently of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2020.

Lilli was born August 15, 2001 at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc, daughter of Holly Groelle and Carlos Alfaro-Lopez (Mexico).

In January 2017 Lilli became the proud mother of daughter, Gianna (Gigi) Mills.  She often boasted her love for Gigi through the ever-popular app, Snapchat.  In June 2019, Lilli showed her true determination and strong-willed personality by beating the odds and graduating at the Challenge Academy in Fort McCoy, where she also received her high school diploma.  Lilli was fun!  Yet fierce!  She had an awesome fun loving spirit which made way for many friendships; just a likable girl who everyone wanted to be friends with.  She loved her music and what girl doesn’t like to shop?!

Lilli is survived by her daughter, Gianna Mills; mother, Holly Groelle; father, Carlos Alfaro-Lopez; sister, Alliese Rhodes; grandmother, Jill Muench (Daniel Muench); grandfather, Mike Groelle (Dodie Groelle); many aunts, uncles, cousins, special people who loved her, Fred and Lina Harris; and oodles of friends.

The funeral service for Lillianna will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 1:00 pm service.  For those attending, masks are required.  For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed on the Valley Funeral home Facebook page www.facebook.com/Valley-Funeral-Home-938408146238680.
