Laura A. Hietpas, age 48, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly at her home from a heart condition on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024. She was born on September 11, 1976, daughter of Brenda (Hietpas) Grienier and the late Pierre Grienier. She graduated from Appleton East High School with the class of 1995.
Laura has worked at Presto Product for the last 24 years. She developed many great friendships from work through the years. On her days off, she enjoyed visits with her mom. Laura’s dog MacGyver was her everything. They were two peas in a pod and each other’s protectors.
Laura’s happy place was the family cottage on Archibald Lake. Time spent with family and friends up there were what she looked forward too. The last year of her life, her boyfriend Joe has brought her endless joy. Laura was always concerned about everyone else before worrying about herself. That selfless love and her witty personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Laura is survived by her mother, Brenda Grienier; brother, Chad (Corinne) Grienier; twin biological children: Nathan and Kiernan Clemente; niece, Kaitlynne Grienier; nephews: Austin and Logan Grienier; boyfriend, Joseph Jeske and his daughter, Kallie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Laura was preceded in death by her father, Pierre Grienier; grandparents: Sylvester and Rosella Hietpas and Stan and Mary Grienier.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will continue after at the 10th Frame in Appleton.
