LaVonne C. Jensen

LaVonne C. Jensen, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born to the late Theodore and Nicolene (Haaland) Stallman on November 12, 1928 in Callaway, Minnesota. She married Chester Jensen on June 10, 1948 in Kenosha, Wisconsin and together raised four children.

“Vonnie” enjoyed sharing stories and photos of her family and truly loved visits and phone conversations with family near and far.

LaVonne is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Anita) Jensen, Thomas (Marla) Jensen, Susan Diel, and Grant (Diane) Jensen; grandchildren: Michael Jensen, Christi (Chad) Kubiak, Nicholas (Brittany) Jensen, Brett (Ashley) Jensen, Thomas Diel, Lauri Headrick, Daniel (Sarah) Jensen, Ethan (Rochelle) Jensen, and Hannah (Jake) Swem; and 14 great-grandchildren. LaVonne is further survived by several sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester; her siblings: Clarence, Sylvester, Mildred, Marjorie, Crysenthia, Inez J., Inez F., Donald, Ada, Duane, and E. Virginia; as well as her son-in-law, Thomas Diel.
