La Verne Penterman age 88, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at home and is now dancing with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
La Verne had a passion for dancing and attended many polka fests. She also loved taking care of others as she was a CNA for many years.
La Verne is survived by her loving children: Jean (Jon) Wundrow, Shirley (Jeff) Hietpas, Patti (Ron) Hansen, Joseph Penterman Jr.; grandchildren: Michael Wundrow, Shelia (Dan) Sutton, James Wundrow, Daniel (Lizz) Wundrow, Ryan (Katie) Hietpas, Tracy (Luke) Jacobson; 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Maria Griesbach; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
La Verne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; and 12 siblings.
La Verne requested no funeral, however; a private celebration of life will be held in her honor
