Kurt D. Foth

Kurt Daniel Foth, age 62, of Kaukauna, WI, was unexpectedly born to eternal life the evening of May 17, 2022. He was born in Minot, ND to Darrel and Shalby (Eick) Foth on February 6, 1960. A longtime resident of Sheboygan/Sheboygan Falls, WI. Kurt recently moved to Kaukauna.

He was the beloved father of Jeremy of Sheboygan, and Maria (Todd) Schuh of Kiel, as well as a devoted grandfather to Cameron and Carter Schuh. He is survived by his mother Shalby of Longmont, CO, and siblings Rodney of Frederick, CO, Todd (Laura Smoller) of West Bend, Lisa (Mike) LeBlanc of Littleton, CO, and Sonja (Steve) Melton of Firestone, CO, and former wife Diana (Doelder) Foth of Sheboygan. He was a beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Darrel.

After attending Sheboygan North High School, Kurt earned his master’s degree in Chemistry from Lakeland College (now Lakeland University) and worked as a chemist for Bemis Manufacturing in Sheboygan Falls for 30 years. Kurt was also very active in the Sierra Club. He was a charitable donor to the United Way. He dedicated his life to his children and family members. His grandsons were the love of his life. Kurt enjoyed star gazing, hiking, camping and riding his bicycle. He enjoyed visiting extended family.

Kurt was a lifelong friend to many, made people feel good about them and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Celebration of Kurt’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 31st from 12-4pm at Bubolz Nature Preserve, 4815 N Lynndale Dr. Appleton, WI 54913.
