Kristen Marie Svendby

Kristen Marie Svendby, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandchild, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at her Oshkosh home on Oct. 22. She was 35.

Born Oct. 6, 1988, in Berlin, Wisconsin, Kristen moved to Appleton in 2001 and graduated from Appleton East High School. She sought kindness in the world, loving others unconditionally. Her friendship was genuine and her love for family constant. Even when life was at its most difficult, when the days became overwhelming, Kristen brought light and goodness to the people around her.

Kristen gifted the world with three beautiful children, Rylee, Aubree, and Lincoln. She loved them without fail, making sacrifices so they could grow up wrapped in the warmth of family. She watches over them now, an angel free of life’s struggles.

Kristen is survived by her children, her mother, Shelli (John Stahoviak) Clark, her father, Brian (Arlene) Svendby, her brother, Bryan Svendby, a grandfather, Lawrence Clark, a grandmother, Connie Boening, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and Patrick Rhoden, the father of her children. All cared for her deeply.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, WI 54911.

Family and friends may greet family on Friday, Oct. 27th from 12 Noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
