Kimberly Bode, age 61 of Westfield, Marquette County, passed away in Appleton after complications related to her long term illness. She was born on March 22, 1961 in Cook County, Illinois to the late Ben J. and Karen (Lambert) Feddeler. When Kim turned 18, she joined the United States Army. She loved the adventure, being a Military Intelligence Analyst, stationed in Germany and Texas; where she met and married Karl Bode. Shortly thereafter, they had their son, Khristopher. Khristopher was ill, causing them to relocate to be near family in Maui, Hawaii. Following Khristopher's passing, Kim poured herself into helping others. She became involved with Hospice Maui for many years, helping other families cope with the loss of their children. Kim also became interested in massage therapy, and learned the art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. In 1997 she returned to Wisconsin, to be near her family and brought her practice to the area. Her clients became some of her closest friends over the years. It was truly her passion in life to serve and help others. Kim also had a deep love of ALL animals, volunteering her time to the monkey sanctuary, Primates Incorporated. She fiercely loved her family, with every ounce of her being and made it well known that she was their protector. Her spirit and soul is sure to be missed by so many as she was loved by so many.
