Kim (Laabs) Dobbe

Kim Dobbe (Laabs), 54 of Appleton, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.  Kim was born July 24, 1966 in Colby, WI to Allen Schjoneman and Annette (Erickson) Laabs.

Kim was employed as the Business Manager at New Hope Lutheran Church for 10 years.  She was also Vice President of Employee Benefit Services for Norwest Bank.

She enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing cards, lying out by the pool, talking to everyone (she was a social butterfly), coffee, and Hallmark movies.  Kim was a runner, a star high school swimmer, trumpet player, and the vice president of water ballet.

Kim is survived by her husband, Jim; a daughter Kelsey Laabs; 2 brothers Scott (Val) Schjoneman and Marty (Janice) Schjoneman; her parents Allen (Gloria) Schjoneman, Kewaunee, WI and Annette (Steve) Laabs, Colby, WI; stepchildren Erin (Dennis) Lenius, Kimberly, WI and Katie McNeil, Appleton, WI.

Services for Kim will be held Friday, June 18 at 11:00 am at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N Richmond Street, Appleton, WI.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am service.   Pastor Dennis Ellisen will be officiating.
