Kenneth R. Kerneen

Kenneth R. Kerneen, age 50, of Appleton passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Froedtert Medical Center in Milwaukee with his family by his side.  He was born in Waupaca on January 8, 1974 to his parents John and Sharon Kerneen.  Ken married Mary Krahn on July 10, 2010 in Appleton.  Ken graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1992 and he received an Associate of Science degree in electronics engineering technology from Herzing College of Technology in 1999.  Ken was employed by Ducommun since April 2004 to the present.  Ken enjoyed going to the musky fishing tournament in Eagle River with his dad and his brother Kelly.  He enjoyed playing card games with his family and he enjoyed cooking.  Ken was also an avid Packers, Brewers, and Bucks fan.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, Anthony; parents, John and Sharon; brothers: Kelly, Darrel (Tammy) and their daughters Joslyn and Savanah; his sister, Dawn (Brad) Diestler, their son Trevor (Megan) and their daughter, Isabella, Kyle Diestler; his parents-in-law, Roseanne and Robert, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eileen and Leroy Kerneen, Harry and Dorothy Georgeson, and his aunt and uncle Coleen (Jack) Ridge, uncle Dwane Georgeson.

A Memorial Gathering for Ken will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Valley Funeral Home (2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton) from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M.
