Keith Haen Obituary

Keith L. Haen, age 68, of Greenville, was reunited with his heavenly family and friends on September 11, 2025. He was born March 15, 1957, to the late Bernard and Hazel (Guerts) Haen. Keith married the love of his life, Teresa, in 2005.

Keith was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His family was his biggest source of pride and he loved nothing more than to tell his kids and grandkids how proud he was of each of them.  His beloved wife Teresa was his soul mate and partner in adventure, and he made sure to always tell her how much he loved her, right up until his very last breath.

An avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, he felt connected to nature and found joy doing anything outside. He enjoyed gardening and monitoring his numerous birdfeeders to see which species were visiting his yard.

Keith believed that if a man’s wealth was measured by the number of friends he had, he was the richest man to ever live. He could light up a room with his wide grin and unforgettable laugh, and he made friends everywhere he went. He cherished the time spent with his close friends Don and Tad, along with many others too numerous to name.

A role model like none other, he lived every day to the fullest and was a shining example of how to stick to your values, treat people with compassion, care for all of God’s creatures, always remain optimistic, and live a humble but abundant life.

Keith is survived by his spouse, Teresa Haen; children: Christine (Mike) Dietzen, Holly Nehring, David (Maribeth) Nehring, and Bayli (Alex) Nehring; grandchildren: Brooke, Blake, Natalie, Adelynn, Cooper, Lucas, and Zander; furbabies: Maggie and Mila; grand dog: Brandi; siblings: Dave Haen (Barb), Paul Haen (Barb); and brother-in-law George Kessler. He is also survived by Teresa’s siblings and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Hazel Haen, and a brother, Don Haen.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11 from 3-8 pm at Willie Beamon’s (2590 County Road II, Neenah).
