Kay Marie Schwebs

Kay Marie Schwebs age 90, of Appleton passed away peacefully the morning of October 21, 2021. Kay was born on November 24th, 1930 and grew up in Hortonville.

Kay met Carl Schwebs in high school and they were married shortly after. They enjoyed 70 happy years together. She ran her own salon, Kay’s beauty salon for awhile on college Avenue. Kay loved animals especially cats and growing flowers. In her younger years she enjoyed creating some really beautiful needlepoint’s that decorate the home. Carl and Kay enjoyed activities together throughout the years with biking being a favorite of Kay’s.

Kay is survived by her husband Carl, a son, Curt Schwebs and a sister in law Trudy Keefe.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Carl Keefe.
