Kathryn "Katie" P. Mueller

Kathryn “Katie” P. Mueller, age 51, passed away at her home on Monday, March 23, 2026 in Appleton. She was born on July 15, 1974 in Appleton to David and Patricia (Fiedler) Mueller.

Katie will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind heart, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She had a deep love for cats, especially her beloved companion, Zoe, who was rarely far from her side and brought her endless comfort and companionship.

She had a curious mind and a fondness for computers, always interested in learning and staying connected in her own way. She also enjoyed traveling, with memorable trips to New York and California—places that brought her both adventure and lasting memories.

Seven years ago, Katie faced a battle with lung cancer with remarkable courage and resilience. Her strength during that time was an inspiration to those who knew and loved her.

Above all, she cherished her family and the moments spent together, whether near or far. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Katie is survived by her mother, Patricia Mueller; sister, Kim (Brian) Mischler; nephews: Logan (Sylvia Vander Loop), Blake, and Levi Mischler; numerous cousins; dear friends: Alyssa, Jeremy, Zack and Nafreen; and cat, Zoe. She was preceded in death by her father, David Mueller.
